In March of 2017, police say members of the Welland Street Crime Unit began an investigation into the alleged sale of heroin and methamphetamine in Welland.  Assisting with the investigation were members of the St Catharines Street Crime Unit and officers assigned to uniform patrol.

 

Police seized suspected heroin, methamphetamine and fentanyl with a potential street value of over $1100. During the course of the investigation Adam Pringle, a 28 year old resident of Toronto was charged with the following:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Fail to Comply with Probation x 3

Steven McColl, a 29 year old resident of Welland was charged with the following:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
Possession of Fentanyl
Resist Arrest
Fail to Comply with Probation

Jennifer Fellinger a 29 year old resident of Port Elgin was charged with the following:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
