In 2017, members of the #3 District Street Crime Unit began investigating the sale of drugs by a Welland resident.
On June 5th, 2017 with the assistance of officers from #3 District Detective Office and Uniform Patrol, a CDSA search warrant was executed in Welland.
As a result police say they located Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine, MDMA, Marijuana, and cash. The combined value of drugs seized was over $3100.
Jeremy McGilvery, a 31 year old Welland resident who was the main target in this investigation was charged with:
1) Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
2) Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
3) Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
4) Possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking
5) Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
6) Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Alicia Cass, a 32 year old Welland resident was charged with:
1) Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
2) Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
3) Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
4) Possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking
5) Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
Douglas Ray Bishop, a 30 year old Port Colborne resident was charged with:
1) Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
2) Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
3) Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
4) Possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking
5) Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
6) Breach of Probation
Lisa Scott, a 37 year old Welland resident was charged with:
1) Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
2) Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
3) Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
4) Possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking
5) Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
