Doug Ford, Ontario’s new PC leader will be rolling into St. Catharines this evening.
Ford will be here for a “Rally for a Better Ontario” tonight from 6 to 8 pm at the Holiday Inn. Last night he was in Hamilton as pictured below.
Ford promised to keep taxes low, attract more business to the province, and reject a federally imposed carbon tax if elected as the next premier of Ontario.
The visit comes as the Wynne Liberals’ 2018 budget was released which carries a $ 6.7 billion deficit. The debt issue is one that Ford is promising with a Tory government, to take head on.
As for Premier Wynne, she says Ford’s policies will give corporations and the wealthy, tax cuts they don’t need.
