Virgil Stampede

The Virgil Stampede starts today on Saturday, May 19th. The Stampede includes lots of variety including amusement rides, pony rides, refreshment stands, silent auctions, and a demolition derby. Fireworks at 9:30 pm on Monday are a must-see and for the full line up of events check here for the schedule.

Lakeside Park Carousel Opening
The opening of the Lakeside Park Carousel is today, Saturday, May 19, always a family favourite.

Hours:
May 19 – June 3, 2018: open on weekends and holidays from 11 am – 8 pm.
June 9 – August 31, 2018: open daily from 11 am – 8 pm.
September 1 – October 8, 2018: open on weekends and holidays from 11 am – 6 pm.

Fireworks at Heartland Forest

Saturday, May 19th at 7pm a great fireworks night awaits you at Heartland Forest. There are also lots of other activities for the kids like Tootsie Express train rides, mini putt and more.

Fireworks at the Falls

If fireworks are your thing, another option are the fireworks displays in Niagara Falls, with regular shows every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night until the end of June and then every night until the end of September. For full schedule details, check out the Niagara Parks website.

This weekend, the Victoria Day fireworks display are on May 21st at 10pm, weather permitting.

 

Victoria Day Celebrations at the Welland Sports Complex

Victoria Day festivities at the Welland Sports Complex include activities and fireworks. Enjoy face painting, 9-hole Mini-Putt Golf Course, Pirate Ship Inflatable, Marshall the Firedog Bouncer and more. Fireworks at 9:30pm  on May 20, over the canal. This is a free event.

Happy Rolph’s

The animals will be at Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm starting Victoria Day weekend. Enjoy the animals as well as picnic areas, a nature trail along the water, and a large playground.
