Police say a drug investigation into the sales of fentanyl and cocaine in St.Catharines has led to 6 arrests.

 

In May of 2020 detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Street Crime Unit, began the investigation and in the morning hours of July 28th, 2020, detectives with the assistance of the NRPS Emergency Task Unit, Guns, Gangs and Grows Unit and the Hamilton Police Emergency Response Unit, executed simultaneous search warrants at three locations in the city of St.Catharines.

As a result, 71 grams of cocaine and 20 tablets of oxycodone were seized. These controlled substances carry an estimated street value of $10,800.  Detectives have also seized $ 13,370 in cash believed to be proceeds of crime.

Arrested and charged with various offences related to the above are: Matthew GOODMAN (22 years), Quinton THOMAS (26 years), Kordell GOODMAN (20 years), Darren GOODMAN (46 years) Angela GOODMAN (44 years) and Mickayla LEY (21 years) all of St. Catharines.
