On Monday October 20, 2014, shortly after 5:00 p.m.,  the Niagara Regional Police were called to the Gales Gas Bar, located at 143 Welland Avenue, in the City of St Catharines.

According to police, it was reported that a male had entered the kiosk and confronted the lone clerk.  The suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from the cash register.  Upon receiving a sum of money, the suspect fled the gas station on foot and immediately left the area.  The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect was described as being a white male, approximately 5’6″ tall, 140 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the inside of the hood being red in colour.

Detectives from the #1 District Criminal Investigations Branch, are asking that anyone who may have any information that may assist in this investigation, to call 905-688-4111 extension 4307 or 4233.
