On Wednesday July 9, 2014, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the Niagara Regional Police were called to a residence on Greenlaw Place, located in central St Catharines.  A male was found in the street by some neighbours, calling for assistance after two males had broken into his home and engaged him in a physical altercation in an attempt to rob him.

Police say the suspects are described as being male, in their early 20’s, one with blonde hair and the other with brown hair.  Neither of the suspects is known to the victim, but at this stage of the investigation, it would appear that he was an intended target.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the St Catharines hospital for treatment and later released.
