Police say, since March of this year members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating a male from a Kent Street Home for selling prescription medication.

On Tuesday April 28th, 2015 police obtained a search warrant to enter and search the same residence. At 2:30 pm the search warrant was executed and two males were arrested. Police searched the residence and located a large quantity of prescription medication and a large quantity of cash.

Charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5,000.00 is 47-year-old Raymond Westlake. Also charged  with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance is 50-year-old Donald Lawrence. Westlake was held in custody pending a bail hearing on April 29th, 2015. Lawrence was subsequently released from custody and will return to court in June to answer to his charge.

In total Police located and seized $3,025.00 in prescription medication, and $5,010.00 in cash.
