We thought it was a great day for ribs yesterday with the wonderful weather and summery vibe so off to the Niagara Square Parking lot we headed for a little fun for the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise Ribfest and BBQ…..
Entering throught the Zehrs tent…there was no admission fee and lots of great Niagara Falls Rotarian volunteers greeting us at the door…
First you get through a merchant alley with everything from hats to shirts to jewellery….lots of neat stuff…
And then it is to the main area….be prepared for crowds………
Soul Jam was on the stage with some sweet sounds in the background……
And then it was ribs ribs and more ribs …….
Not just any ribs either….AWARD WINNING……..
Other great food included Corn on the Cob, Deep Fried Everything and of course some Bloomin’ Onions! (unhealthy and unbelievably GREAT!)

It was hot on the pavement and we don’t know how she did it, but his woman was EVERYWHERE on stilts handing out the kids balloons which they LOVED!
Money raised during this event goes back into the community. The Rotary Club contributes to places like Rotary House, Pathstone Mental Health, School Breakfast Programs, the GNGH Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Niagara, Habitat for Humanity and Literacy Niagara to name but a few.
