Police say on September 17th members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Morality Unit concluded an investigation into a local drug trafficking operation.The conclusion of the investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a St. Anns residence.

 

As a result of the investigation police seized 9 Fentanyl patches, 390 Hydromorphone pills, 286 Oxycontin pills, 80 grams of Crystal Meth, and 63 grams of Cocaine.Police also seized $17250.00 in currency, a prohibited weapon, digital scales, packaging materials, and communication devices. The potential street value of the drugs seized is $45000.00.

Sebastian Blaszyk (39yrs) is charged with five counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.00.

Also charged in the investigation was Ewa Blaszyk (59yrs), and Rachelle Smith (23yrs).

Michael Gillingwater was also found to be in violation of his parole during this investigation and was subsequently taken into custody.
