The Niagara Association of Realtors (NAR), reported 895 property sales processed through the NAR Multiple Listing Service system in April which is a 20.3% increase in sales over April of last year.

 

The residential average sale price of $303,805 was 8.8% higher than last April. The average days on market decreased from 52 to 41 in the residential freehold market and from 87 to 78 in the condominium market.

“The trend of fewer listings and increased sales continued in April,” said Carolyn Bones-Poley, CEO, Niagara Association of REALTORS®. “The average sale price has also increased from this same time period in 2015.”
