In August of 2016, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) say the Sexual Assault Unit started an investigation into a sexual assault allegation by an 18 year old female regarding five teen aged boys and on October 12, 2016, five males were arrested.

 

The five males, all from Niagara Falls were charged with sexually assaulting the girl after a party in St. Catharines in August and now are are out on bail ranging from $3000 to $5000.

Under the terms of the bail, they cannot use a cellphone or communications device except for work and school purposes.They cannot have any communication with the victim, nor each other except incidental contact at school, during sports activities or shared work environments.
