Niagara Regional Police are reminding people to make sure all their vehicle documents are up to date after many charges were laid recently.

Police say that members of their Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted enforcement in the City of Niagara Falls on Friday and as a result 23 charges were laid.

The enforcement was conducted with the Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) and among the 23 charges there were 1 unlicensed driver and 2 suspended drivers.  One suspended driver has been suspended for almost 10 years.

A conviction for driving while under suspension can result in a $1000 fine and a 6 month or more driving ban.
