Swoop is the only ultra-low-cost carrier in Canada and will provide the country with a no-frills, lower- fare air travel option that it anticipates will get more Canadians travelling.

Featuring what they call a modern fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft and a management team with deep knowledge of the aviation market, the pink and white themes Swoop is part of WestJet and will make its maiden journey tomorrow morning from John C. Munroe Airport in Hamilton to Abbotsford, B.C.

Swoop says fares should be 30 to 40 per cent lower than a national carrier.

The airline currently has flights to the following locations: Halifax, Edmonton, Hamilton, Abbotsford and Winnipeg and says they are working hard to constantly expand their flight network.

Base price starts with just a seat on an aircraft and then yo have a choice of a customized experience with options are available at an additional cost – it’s your choice.
