Niagara Regional Police say they are investigating random assaults in the Fort Erie area.

 

Detectives are currently investigating three random assaults, that have occurred in the area of Queen Street and Goderich Street.

Within the month of February 2022, three separate incidents occurred where adult males, walking alone at night, were targeted. In each incident, the suspect snuck up on the victims and without provocation punched them and ran away.

None of the victims suffered serious injuries.

Police are requesting the public to remain cautious when travelling by foot at night in this neighbourhood.

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 20-40 years old, 5’10” in height, with a slender build.
