This client had beautiful high ceilings in their home with an open floor plan design and wanted a luxurious yet simple entertaining space for family and friends.
Using a soft grey palette with punches of colour, I think we achieved just that.
This grand living space was redesigned starting with choosing a beautiful grey palette for the walls. The original hardwood floors were changed to a dark walnut flooring, the previous floors were donated to Habitat for Humanity.
Next we shopped for exclusive custom furniture for a seating area which would stand the test of time. A custom settee and four custom chairs were chosen for the living area. The dining room already had a beautiful dining table, so we found captain chairs to compliment the arrangement. A contemporary lighting fixture was chosen for the foyer and enhanced with table lamps for mood lighting. The owner found artwork made of wood featuring birch trees, a great feature for the dining room.
This grand living space has now become the place to entertain all their family and friends for every occasion.
Redefining a space doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes simplicity is best as seen in this stunning home that flows so well.
