On March 2nd 2016, members of the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit observed three individuals attending a local Restaurant / Bar establishment in the City of St.Catharines. Investigation revealed that these three parties were violating their court imposed Recognizance of Bail conditions. All three parties were arrested inside this establishment without incident.

 
This investigation led investigators to a vehicle rented from the Toronto area. Police seized the vehicle and were granted judicial authorization to search this vehicle. A search of this vehicle led to police in locating a quantity of suspected Crack Cocaine.

Arrested and charged were the following persons:

Sirag SULIMAN a 26 year old resident of St.Catharines.

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
Failing to Comply with his Recognizance x 5

Abdelmuneim ABDALLA a 28 year old resident of Niagara Falls

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
Failing to comply with his recognizance x 2

Vanessa HEREDIA-GUTIERREZ a 29 year old resident of St.Catharines

Failing to comply with her recognizance

As a result of this investigation Police seized $1400 worth of Crack Cocaine and $650  in Canadian Currency. All parties were held in custody pending bail hearings.
