The 42nd annual Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival which ran Friday through Monday over the long weekend saw huge come to enjoy the cool but perfect weather in the niagara region!


Featured were 160 artisans, nestled under white tents showing off their wares as people made their way through looking for that unique “something”…




Some of the artisans included one-of-a-kind jewellery, hand made designs, clothing and so much more….below stunning bowls crafted by Michael Sbrocca Woodturning…



Who says homemade instruments can’t sound great?


Windows need not be boring…


And neither do birdhouses!



With Halloween’ just around the corner, why not stock up on some cool crafts for the festivities?


Of course music was also a big part of the day and added to the lively thanksgiving spirit!  Here Frog and Henry perform…


Folks sat around on picnic tables soaking up the sun, having a bite and enjoying the country inspired music…


Some even got up and danced!


Any great festival needs some good eats and there was no shortage of that…..mmm…roasted corn on the cob!


And don’t forget the Kettle Corn…made right before your eyes! Yikes that looks HOT…


Lots of sampling of local wares made this a delicious afternoon…

Nestled on the scenic Niagara Escarpment at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area, the Ball’s Falls historical church was open for people to tour the amazing interior of the restored chapel …




Families enjoyed learning about the days of old with some of the displays, here a steam engine pumps water into a tub…


And of course the majestic falls were a must see for everyone…here a couple takes a daring view….


Its a long way down, but absolutely breathtaking….


The event which ran Friday to Monday was a major success again this year and is a major fundraiser for the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA), with revenues from admission directed to a number of NPCA’s conservation programs.
